Judging Projects
Judges are perhaps the most important piece of the science fair experience. They play the critical role of mentor and empath since many have had experience in their past academic lives, or have had professional practice to bring to the judges table. They must understand that many students are in their formative years and require guidance and leadership rather than a severe critique. Yet all projects must still be evaluated by their science. We are, after all, presenting science in an experimental way by humans who are at the beginning of their scientific studies. We could not conduct this fair without your help and for this we and the student scientists are forever grateful. Please look below for links to register as a judge for the Southeast Minnesota and Western Wisconsin Science and Engineering Fair.
